Delaney Works · Limerick, Ireland

Stop doing the same office admin by hand, every week.

I help Irish construction and service firms take one repetitive, time-sapping admin job off the team — chasing documents, re-keying PDFs, tracking follow-ups — so a person just checks the result instead of doing it all by hand.

A question

How many hours a week does your office lose to the same repetitive admin?

For a lot of small firms it’s the better part of a day — re-keying, chasing and copying the same things between systems.

Good fit if

Your team repeats the same office job every week across email, spreadsheets and folders — and a person could just check the result instead.

01 / What I can help with

Admin jobs that fit.

I work best on repeat admin tasks with a clear pattern.

Examples

  • Chasing subcontractors for missing insurance certs, RAMS and safety docs.
  • Keeping one live list of which subbie is missing what.
  • Extracting data from PDFs or emails into spreadsheets.
  • Tracking quote, job or client follow-ups.
  • Turning scattered email/job info into a clean checklist.

What this looks like

A subcontractor is due on site. The workflow checks which documents you need from them — insurance cert, RAMS, safety statement — emails a request for anything missing, chases on a schedule, and keeps one live list of who’s still outstanding. A person approves every document before it counts.

Not a fit

one-off chaos, judgement-heavy decisions, deciding whether a cert is valid, or anything that should really be fixed by hiring or changing the process. The system chases and tracks; your team approves.

Pricing

the first build is a fixed-price pilot — €500, scoped in writing before anything begins (one live project, up to 15 subcontractors, one document checklist). If it isn’t worth doing, I’ll tell you on the call.

02 / How it works

Four simple steps.

  1. 01

    Show me the current workflow.

    Free · No commitment

A 15-minute call walking through how the admin job is done today.

  2. 02

Send 3–5 sample documents, emails or spreadsheets.

    Real examples

Real examples of what you deal with, redacted if you need them to be.

  3. 03

I map what can realistically be automated.

    Plain English

I tell you plainly what’s worth doing and what isn’t.

  4. 04

We agree one small workflow and get a working version live.

    One small workflow

One job, not a big software project. You see it working before anything scales.

03 / Why work with me

One engineer. Accountable to you.

I’m Emmet Delaney, a software engineer with 10+ years’ experience building business software. Through Delaney Works, I help construction and service businesses reduce repetitive admin using practical automation. The person who quotes the job is the person who builds it.

One named engineer.

You deal directly with me, not an account manager or junior handoff.

Fixed scope, fixed price.

You know what’s included before work starts. If the scope changes, I’ll flag it clearly before doing extra work.

Your data stays yours.

The workflow runs in your own EU-hosted environment where possible. If our arrangement ends, you keep the system, your accounts and your data — no platform lock-in.

Honest about limits.

AI supports admin work. It does not replace safety, legal, accounting or professional judgement. Human review stays in the loop.

04 / Open spot

A bounded subcontractor-docs pilot — €500 fixed.

Scoped in writing before I start, and it doesn’t go live until you’ve approved the output. You’d be one of my first clients; in return I’d ask to publish the anonymised before-and-after. Your business details stay private — only the workflow type and the result are shared.

The €500 pilot includes

  • One live project
  • Up to 15 subcontractors
  • One document checklist
  • One reminder sequence
  • One live status view
  • A 14-day post-launch correction window

Not in this pilot

  • Integrations with third-party systems (Procore, SharePoint, your accounts package)
  • More than one project or checklist
  • Deciding whether a document is valid — your team approves that
